On the way the Mottai....

The "Monsoon" had arrived in Kerala and the "Season" in the western parts of Tirunelveli district. The best part about the "Season" is the absence of torrential rain as one is a witness to in Kerala. Instead one gets to enjoy a windy experience peppered with a mild drizzle throughout. The experience is most enjoyed during long walks. With sun playing truant, and wind accompanying you, a walk in these parts is a pleasure at all times of the day. 2 weeks back, I decided to enjoy one such walk from Shencottah to Gadana dam. On the way,I saw a board that indicated a detour to "Mottai Reservior".I decided to take the detour,and it turned out to be a blessing.It turned out to be the best kept secret of these parts. So impressed was I, that I decided to visit this place again last week, just to enjoy human solitude in company of nature..
