The bird hunt....
Went hunting for birds in Ambasamudram. Heard that a few flock in Tiruppudaimaruthur.Took an auto from Ambai bus stand.Me sporting a binocular in hand , the autowala thought i was a researcher.3 species had flocked this village. Lots were perched on top of trees and others were taking a bath at the confluence of Gadanai and Tamirabarani. Crossed the river and spotted them at close quarters.Words can never describe the sight.The autowala who got excited about this was a partner throughout my short expedition. Took a bath in the river.Had to leave soon , but not without my share of joy.
