few pics for public consumption..

This was the rivulet just outside the karaiyar dam.had a nice little oil batch here. the flow was fast enuf to be soothing.

Karaiyar at probably half its glory. On the other side of the hill (the one that is closer to your eye) is the banatheertham falls(alias chinna chinna aasai falls)

n quiet flows the tamirabarani on the day of panguni uthiram at pazhavoor.on the other side is pattamadai.

The romantic little passenger train chugging along from quilon to tirunelveli at tenkasi gate.It was quite airy at that time .My dad commented, "Dei Arizona kaathu paaru da".

hey wats this?? This place is responsible for making adyar, a livable place, thesophical Society , Madras.

At Karayar, the conical peak behind is Agasthyarkoodam/Pothigaimalai, the source of the Tamraparani (and the Tamil language) and the highest peak in the southern Western ghats. Next to it on the right (not in pic) is Aindhu Thalai Pothigai. Didn't know that Banatheertham is Chinna chinna Aasai falls!
