The small town enthusiast....
small towns evoke the romanticist in me..always been a keen hater of their bigger versions..a ideal metaphor according to me would be that of a prostitute..u use them n then leave them to decay..big cities are all bout that..most of them lack character..if cities were characters u cld describe them as schizophrenic said the Hindu Folio long time back, and i second it.There is altogether a separate charm bout small towns..me living in the vicinity of bangalore fr quite smtime..But never been there xcept when i frequent the railway station..Hosur seems to be all peace to me..the town may not be neat..but its smaller nature makes u feel comfortable..used to think the same bout Madras..but my beloved sleepy little metro has changed..beyond redemption..there it goes to the dogs..used by everybody cared by none..i dont share the same relationship with chennai..it's a lost cause to me..its beyond my control..i can only cry at its decadence...jus wanna be in a place where u r at peace with your surroundings..let's see if i have it in me to do that..
